SIDH’s fellowship and scholarship initiatives are rooted in its larger commitment to meaningful education, self-inquiry, Bharatiya drishti, and support for sincere learners and educators. Through these initiatives, SIDH seeks to nurture individuals and institutions engaged in educational work that goes beyond conventional academic achievement and remains connected with life, society, culture, and inner growth.

The SIDH Fellowship includes support for teachers, researchers, educational initiatives, and students who are working in areas aligned with SIDH’s vision. This includes fellowship support to teachers at Udhbhavaha, Bengaluru, who are undertaking long-term research-based projects while continuing their active teaching responsibilities. Their work includes developing educational material on Ayurveda and holistic health, creating meaningful audio-visual resources for children, exploring traditional storytelling, conducting dialogue series on modernity, documenting local histories, and strengthening reflective educational practice.

Alongside teacher fellowships, SIDH also provides scholarship support to students from economically weaker sections. This support helps students continue their education with dignity, from school-level learning to higher professional studies. The assistance is extended according to the needs and educational requirements of each student.

Through these fellowships and scholarships, SIDH hopes to create spaces where teachers remain learners, students are supported in their educational journey, and meaningful knowledge is generated through lived practice. The initiative is not merely financial support; it is an effort to strengthen educational work rooted in responsibility, cultural understanding, self-reflection, and a deeper engagement with life.
